What could be better than having the opportunity to turn your passion into your career? Being creative with words and using them to help people understand each other and, ultimately, the world around us was always something that inspired me. Now I am able to spend my time doing what I love: pinpointing linguistic nuances and letting my imagination run wild.

Over the years I have spent many months abroad, including stints in Mexico, Spain and Malta as well as in Canada, where I lived for one year. I am now based in Berlin and have been living and working here since 1998.

I hold a degree in translation studies in English and Spanish and since 2008, I have been a sworn court translator and interpreter for the State of Berlin. In the years that followed, I helped found the lingua*trans*fair network of language professionals and I have been teaching German as a foreign language at different institutions.
